I am Marisa Henry, the founder and editor of WitchNamesGenerator.com. I built this site because I wanted a witch name generator that did more than spit out random words. I wanted something that gave names with real meaning, real history, and real magic behind them.
My fascination with witch names started years ago while researching folklore for a fantasy story I was writing. I noticed how the best witch names from Hecate to Morrigan to Circe to Bellatrix all carried weight rooted in old languages. They sounded ancient because they were ancient.
